No booking engine, no fixed departure times. You tell us when and what; we settle the details with you and tell you who and how much.
Inquire
The form takes two minutes: city, date, start time, duration, private or group, group size, language, and the theme if you have one.
Details settled
We reply within one working day. If anything is open, timing, theme, mobility, we settle it with you by email before asking a historian.
Historian confirmed
We ask the historians in that city and confirm one, usually within two to three days, with their background, the price and the meeting point. A card payment link comes with it. The walk is booked once paid. Free cancellation up to 7 days before; non refundable inside 7 days.
Walk
Meet at the point in your confirmation, on time. Walks run in light rain; in severe weather we reschedule at no cost.
Details
What to know.
- Private walks: up to 8 people, 1.5 to 3 hours. Group walks: up to 25 per historian, 2 hours as a rule; larger groups split across historians.
- Prices depend on city, duration and group size; you get a number with the historian confirmation, usually two to three days after you ask.
- Entry tickets to monuments and museums are not included. We say which are worth it and can end the walk at a door.
- Languages: English and the local language everywhere; others on request.
- Accessibility: tell us about mobility, and we plan a flat route or a shorter one.
